Companionship for the people you care for
GotHuman Companion helps care homes give their residents more time with people who are there to talk, listen and get out and about with them.
Who it's for
We're starting with care homes. A care home with an account adds its sites and staff, and keeps each resident's consent and authority records in one place.
Families and individuals come later. Booking for them isn't open yet, and we'd rather say so plainly than make you wait for an answer.
What a care home gets
- Vetted companions. Everyone who visits is checked by our team before they meet a resident.
- Social visits and outings. Conversation, company and trips out. Never personal care, medication or nursing.
- Records kept with consent. We keep only what a resident, or the person who can decide for them, has agreed to.
Where we are open
Where GotHuman Companion is open, a care home can set up an account, add its sites, staff and residents, and have our team verify it. Where it isn't open yet, this site says so at the top of every page. Nothing books and nothing takes payment yet anywhere, so you won't be charged for anything.
Working alongside your regulator
In Ireland, care homes are inspected by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA). You can look a care home up on the regulator's website.
